How to use NexEpi

Getting started

After receiving beta access, tell us where you watch and mark what you have watched on the poster wall. From then on, the quickest way to log is the button Add (or the key n): choose the title, episode, when and where you watched, rating and, optionally, some text.

To mark without details, use the ✓ on Continue watching cards, in the show's episode list or on the calendar. Everything becomes a diary entry — you can undo it using the notice that appears afterward.

Diary and ratings

Every time you watch is a sessionwith a date, rating for that session, service, tags and text. Rewatching a movie creates a new session marked as a rewatch, and both ratings are kept.

• Ratings range from half a star to five stars, in half-star steps.
• Text from a public session becomes a review on the title page. Followers only and Only me sessions are not shown to other people.
• Bulk marks (an entire season or Watched through here) and titles marked during registration become backlog: they count in your library and profile but are excluded from charts by period — without an exact date, they would create false peaks.

Shows and episodes

On a show's page, each season has its own tab. The circle marks an episode; Mark season marks everything that has aired; on an episode page, Watched through here marks that episode and all earlier ones at once.

The show automatically moves to Watched when you have seen everything aired, and returns to Watching when a new episode is released. Pausing or dropping is your choice and is respected. With the bell enabled, you receive a notification on release day.

Spoilers

An episode discussion opens only after you mark that episode as watched — this is enforced on the server: the text does not reach your browser beforehand. Movies follow the same rule.

• When commenting, select Contains spoilers and specify how far they go: this episode or a later episode you have watched.
• A comment with spoilers for an episode you have not watched arrives without its text, only a warning about how far it goes.
• In the feed, text from sessions and reviews of episodes you have not watched is also withheld.

Export and delete

Export is free in the first section of Settings: complete JSON or history CSV. Deleting your account removes personal application data, with no recovery through the interface. Minimal financial receipts and audit records remain detached; backups follow the retention policy. Confirm your username and authenticate with password or Google, according to your account.

Privacy

• Private profile: only your followers can see your diary, lists, reviews and achievements.
• Who can see your activity: everyone, followers only, or only you.
• Block (in the person's profile menu) removes follows in both directions and hides each person's activity from the other.

Lists and favorites

The heart on a title page adds it to Favorites; your first four movies and shows appear at the top of your profile (use Edit to reorder them). All plans include unlimited public or private lists.

Stats

Hours by month, the year day by day, genres, ratings, days and times, services, directors, cast and binges — calculated from sessions with real dates, in São Paulo time. The year in review card has a public link (respecting your privacy) and an image for stories.

API and calendar

With an API token (in Settings), you can read your queue, diary and library, mark episodes and send player scrobbles. The same token provides a calendar address that you can subscribe to in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. The documentation includes ready-to-use commands.

Closed beta

New accounts join the beta waitlist. The team grants access gradually, individually or through VIP invitations. Signing up does not unlock personal features; sales are suspended. Existing access remains valid. Check your status at My access.
